We do not ask for your trust; we architect systems where trust is unnecessary. BastionID utilizes Zero-Knowledge (ZK) Proofs, meaning we can verify your identity without ever possessing your raw biometric data.
We use ZK-SNARKs (Zero-Knowledge Succinct Non-Interactive Argument of Knowledge). This allows us to mathematically prove "You are You" to a bank or platform without ever sharing your face map or voice print.
We do not store your data in one "Honey Pot." Your encrypted hash is split into 12 shards and distributed across the IPFS (InterPlanetary File System) network. A hacker would need to breach 12 separate sovereign nodes simultaneously.
